Ashok Saraf to be conferred with Maharashtra Bhushan award

  Ashok Saraf: The Maharashtra Bhushan 2024             "Dhananjay Mane ithech raahtaat ka?"      D hananjay Mane ithech raahtat kaa? Every Maharashtrian laughs at this diaglogue histerically because this impromptu improvisation by actor Laxmikant Berde in the movie 'Ashi hi BanvaBanvi' reminds them their childhood. In the 80s Ashok Saraf and Laxmikant Berde worked together in several Marathi Comedy movies and most of them were box-office hits bringing the wave of Comedy films in Marathi Cinema. Both the actors started their careers from theatre, worked in Marathi and Hindi Films and Television in their careers. Their contribution to Marathi Cinema is immense. We lost Laxmikant Berde early, but every now and then when we watch 'Zapatlela' and 'Ashi hi Banvabanavi' Movies on TV, we feel that he is still alive and making us laugh. Mindscape 6

SHARING THE MAIL FOR ALL ART LOVERS. 

 Dear Deepak,

 Hope this mail finds you well.

 Renowned artist Sandeep Bomble is back after a hiatus of 12 years with his newest creation, Mindscape 6 - Journey under the sky.

 Mindscape 6 consists of 65 individual paintings which make up one painting of 504 sq.ft. making it the largest Mindscape. This concept has never been done before in India by any artist ever.

It would be great if you could have a look at the Facebook page to get a better understanding of what Mindscape is all about.

The Mindscape 6 exhibition dates are the 6th-11th February, 11am-7pm at the Nehru Art Centre Gallery, Mumbai.

However, the exhibition is opening on the 5th but only for certain people on Invitee basis. So if you'd like to get an invite for the show, please let me know.

We'd love it if you and your fellow art blogger friends could make your presence felt at the event. We'd love to do a small bloggers meet also if needed.
