Ashok Saraf to be conferred with Maharashtra Bhushan award

  Ashok Saraf: The Maharashtra Bhushan 2024             "Dhananjay Mane ithech raahtaat ka?"      D hananjay Mane ithech raahtat kaa? Every Maharashtrian laughs at this diaglogue histerically because this impromptu improvisation by actor Laxmikant Berde in the movie 'Ashi hi BanvaBanvi' reminds them their childhood. In the 80s Ashok Saraf and Laxmikant Berde worked together in several Marathi Comedy movies and most of them were box-office hits bringing the wave of Comedy films in Marathi Cinema. Both the actors started their careers from theatre, worked in Marathi and Hindi Films and Television in their careers. Their contribution to Marathi Cinema is immense. We lost Laxmikant Berde early, but every now and then when we watch 'Zapatlela' and 'Ashi hi Banvabanavi' Movies on TV, we feel that he is still alive and making us laugh. Ashwamedh Kalamanch team felicitated

 ASHWAMEDH KALAMANCH

   

3rd Feb 2011 was the great day for all the Ashwamedh Group. As Ashwamedh Kalamanch's 'AKDC-10' team got felicitated by Samarth Vidyalaya School, Santacruz (E) on their Annual Function. 

Ashwamedh Kalamanch had organised an all Mumbai level drawing competition AKDC-10 (Ashwamedh Kalamanch's Drawing Competition 2010) on 3rd Oct 2010 in association with Samarth Vidyalaya,Vidyanagari school. In that event around 630 students participated. 

The Annual Gathering of Samarth Vidyalaya took place in the campus of Samarth Vidyalaya school itself.
Moreover, Founder of Ashwamedh Kalamanch and Ex-student of Mulanche Samarth Vidyalaya Mr. Deepak Doddamani was the 'Chairperson' of the event. 

The  event was splendid and children showed their extra-ordinary talents during the Show.Varieties of folk dances and Maharashtrian  dances were the main attraction of the event.
 The 'Chief Guest' for this function was Ms. Chaaya Kadam, an actress of Marathi Film industry and ex-student of Mulinche Samarth Vidyalaya. 
           The other guests included LION'S club's Lion Chryss, Poet Ga.di.ma award winner Awathi Sir, Trustees of Samarth Shiksha Mandal and Education Trust and many more.
